An Excessive Heat Warning is still in effect today until 7 PM. Heat indices will easily climb to over 100° today. Clouds will pop-up and grow into thunderstorms between the hours of 2 PM and midnight. Some of these storms could be on the strong to severe side. There are two primary threats…gusty winds and heavy rainfall. But, as such with every possibility of severe weather, a tornado cannot be ruled out.
Rumbles around early tonight with lows in the middle 60s. Then on Sunday – RELIEF! Due to the passage of today’s cold front, count on less humidity and slightly cooler temperatures for Sunday. The high will be 86°.
Mostly sunny skies forecasted both Monday and Tuesday with highs in the upper 80s. By Wednesday, a return to the 90s with a chance for late-day storms. Some showers could remain Thursday morning. Highs from Thursday through next Sunday will range from the upper 80s to the lower 90s.
Have a great Saturday!
Take care,
Lisa
