Beautiful Again…Once The Southern Storms Leave

Isolated showers and thunderstorms have developed this morning well South of Kansas City.  South Central Vernon County, Missouri, was under a severe thunderstorm warning for a brief period of time due to hail.  It’s all because of a very small ripple that’s moving through this morning.  It will be history well before lunch.  We’ll clear the clouds out and have a sun-filled afternoon with highs around 86°.

Sunny to partly cloudy on Wednesday.  The high will be 86°.  Another disturbance arrives Wednesday night and Thursday morning.  Spotty rain and thunder is possible.  By Thursday afternoon, it will be partly cloudy with temperatures around 87°.

Most of Friday looks dry and warm at 86°.  Rain returns late Friday into Saturday morning.  Highs through the holiday weekend will be in the middle 80s.  Best rain chances for the 4th of July look to be in the morning.  Sunday will be partly cloudy before showers return next Monday.  Thunderstorms possible on Tuesday with a high at 84°.

Take care,
Lisa
