Several rounds of rain expected through Saturday night. Rain is possible this morning through 9 AM. Some of these storms could have heavy rains, lots of lightning plus hail. We’ll have a break around 12 PM. But, after 4 PM, storms will trigger in NE Kansas and NW Missouri. There is a slight risk for severe storms – any storm could have large hail and damaging winds. If a storm can line up with the warm front, then a tornado cannot be ruled out. Today’s high will be 84°.
Rain At Times Early This Weekend
Rain tonight looks to track along and North of I-70. Early in the evening, the storms will be the strongest. Rain should exit the area well before 9 AM. Once again, expect more storms after 4 PM. This time, the storms will be concentrated South of I-70. Saturday will be cooler at 82°.
Partly cloudy and dry by Sunday. The storms should shift far enough South away from our region. Temperatures will rebound to 85°. Sunshine dominates Monday through next Friday with temperatures climbing into the lower 90s.
Have a great Friday!
Take care,
