Rumble Or Two Kind Of Weekend

We’ve had a few severe storms this morning with reports of limbs and trees down in Butler and Appleton City.  By 5 AM, the storms have continued to weaken.  By 9 AM, the storms should be mostly done.  It will be a hot and steamy start to the weekend.  With a cold front hanging out in our area, we could see some isolated showers and thunderstorms later this afternoon after 4 PM.  Today’s high will be 91°.

I think a better chance for storms arrives well after midnight, closer to dawn, on Sunday.  Some of these could be strong with gusty winds and hail.  Count on clouds and some sunshine for Sunday with a high of 91°.  We could see another round of spotty storms after 3 PM Sunday.

Monday will be partly cloudy and very warm at 91°.  Storms in spots Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the upper 80s to near 90°.  Dry next Friday with rain returning by Saturday.  Highs by next weekend look a touch cooler in the upper 80s.

Have a great Saturday!

Take care,
Lisa
